Ready, Set: Designing Contemporary Tableware

Sat. & Sun., July 28 - 29, 2018
10am – 4:30pm

This workshop will improve students’ aesthetic sensibility to design and make ceramic sets. Create your own set of tableware or objects and investigate variations on a theme. A set can be tied together with color, size, position of image, or concept. Every artist approaches a series of forms with a slightly different perspective. The experience of making the first influences the next. We’re thoughtful and inconsistent creatures and we can use these characteristics to great benefit when done so with intention. This course is open to all skill levels.  Hand-builders and wheel throwers are welcome.  Previous experience in clay will be helpful.

PRICE FOR THIS WORKSHOP:
