Instructor: David Delgado
This class is designed for the advanced student that can comfortably throw a myriad of forms within the first few attempts. The focus is on altering wheel-thrown objects, expanding the possibilities of surface with underglazes and alternative approaches to applying glaze. In relation to both form and surface, students will be encouraged to think about how devises such as line, repetition, pattern, and imagery are functioning to add to the individual work. Each three-hour class will include one to two demonstrations as well as give ample time for individual assistance and time to practice newly learned techniques.
