Members and Students,

We’re excited to try something new for the Holiday Sale this year and hope you (members AND students) would like to take part! Both Staff and the Board enthusiastically endorse this plan.

  • The Holiday Sale will be held over just one long weekend (12/7, 12/8, 12/9) and we’ll close the whole studio for three days to do it.

  • We’re treating this as a fundraiser to help pay for having regular weekend gallery staffing for the rest of the year.

  • Each participant will have a table (or part of a table) to set up their work. 

  • All the wheels, slab roller, wedging table, and cleanup bins will be pushed to one side to create room for more tables.

  • 40 member sellers and 10 student sellers = 50 sellers (+ staff and teachers in one group section).

  • Entry fee: $75 for table spots. The $75 for approximately 16 square feet of table space covers your booth fee for all 3 days. You may need to share a large table with another participant.  (FYI Either way, very reasonable for 3-day event!).

  • Commission: Only 10% (Again, minimal).

  • Big Opening Night party/reception on Friday, 12/7 with 3-4 bands, food, drink, etc.

  • You’ll need to set up on Friday, 12/7, in the daytime, for the opening on Friday night, and person your booth/table Friday night: 6-10pm; Saturday and Sunday: 11-5pm. Breakdown after 5pm Sunday.

  • We will run three Square iPad register stations to collect all sales and taxes, and have a DIY wrapping station.

  • Member registration (40 max) will be on a first-come/first-serve basis, without jurying. Registration is $75. Register here >>>

  • Open to current Potters' Studio members and students only.

All profits generated from this event will go back into the gallery and help pay for weekend gallery staffing for 2019.

In addition to the entry fee and 10% commission, other revenue will come in via:

  • Raffle: Sellers, staff, and some past workshop instructors from the past will be encouraged to donate a piece.

  • Food and drink sales, particularly at the Friday opening.
