Instructor: Pamela Thomas
This class focuses on ceramic handbuilding methods to make functional works of art. We will begin with basic building techniques -- coil, slab, and pinch methods -- to create unique functional forms. We'll then move to more complex assemblies and finish with texture , design, and glaze to enhance the surface of the work. Projects and demonstrations will be a catalyst for our individual and creative expression. Students may choose projects to focus on such as dinner sets, tea pots, vases, boxes or jars. All levels welcome! The instructor can work with more advanced students to develop their skills and personal vision.

10am - 1pm
The Tablewares class is only happening once. 6/11 -- 7/30.
Next session will resume the Rotating Focuses Handbuilding class with Anna Vaughan on 8/6. The waitlist is for that class.
A couple of weeks before the end of a class, the current students are given the chance to re-register. The number of students opting out determines how many spots become available to new students (typically on the waiting list).
If you apply to multiple waitlists (two max), you will be contacted for each.
