Ceramic History Lectures by Dr. Joe Pugliese
Chinese Pottery in Tang and Sung Dynasty

The Potters' Studio is hosting a series of lecture/discussions on ceramic art history, offered by Joe Pugliese (Ph.D. in Art History) who initiated and taught a one year course on this subject from l957 to l964 at U.C., Berkeley. The subject matter will concern the diverse functions of ceramic art, from the utilitarian to the sublime, in various historic cultures.
The presentations will begin promptly at 7:00 pm and take about an hour and fifteen minutes. All are welcome and $10 dollar donation to the Potters' Studio will be expected. The next lecture will cover Chinese Pottery from the Tang and Sung Dynasty China.
