CLASSES AT THE POTTERS' STUDIO
The 8 week course begins at any time, and can be repeated.
Class Description: Learn ceramic sculpting techniques while discovering and accentuating your personal style.
This ongoing class will address form, surface, composition, and content. Demonstrations will be done at each session. Class projects and demos will expose you to something new (a building technique, approach, or style). Beginners can identify techniques they want to further explore, and advanced artists can find inspiration and new approaches.
Students are welcome to participate in the current class project, or work on their own projects. Everyone will receive weekly feedback, constructive critiques and technical support. All skill levels are welcome.
Included in the class: recycled clay(when available), cone 10 glazes, 2 cu ft. firing space in the gas kiln, and access to facilities whenever a member is present.
